Understanding the TAP/EP/California Survey Scorecard
The Neoserra TAP scorecard provides a low wealth breakdown of a number of economic impact metrics as defined in the California Small Business Technical Assistance Program reporting requirements. In order for a counseling session, milestone or capital funding event to be considered by the Small Business Technical Assistance Expansion Program (TAP) scorecard, the session records must have the Reportable? check box selected; have a date in the Reporting Date field for capital funding records or have a date in the Date field for milestone records that falls within the reporting period; be categorized under the funding funding sources specified in the scorecard definition; and be assigned to the center (or one of the centers) specified in the scorecard definition.
Low wealth cities and counties are updated each year.
Since the California Small Business Technical Assistance Program requires hundreds of different metric points, the data is distributed over three scorecards:
- The Capital Infusion with Demographic Breakdown includes all capital funding metrics
- This scorecard provides all the capital infusion and contract award information.
- The Economic Impact with Demographic Breakdown includes all economic metrics
- This scorecard profiles all the economic impact metrics
- The Neoserra TAP scorecard only includes the Low Wealth breakdowns
- OutreachSystems will update the Low Wealth Areas scorecard each year and it will always retain the most recent past year. In other words, you should always see two copies of this scorecard, one for the current fiscal year, and one for the prior fiscal year.
You can find these scorecards by going to the Manage|Scorecards menu option. Here you will find the three scorecards, that together will provide you with all the information needed on the TAP spreadsheet:
